Welcome, Wominjeka, and Ni hao
On behalf of the students, staff and School Council, I would like to welcome you to Napoleons Primary School. I hope that you find the information on our website useful in learning more about our wonderful school.
I am fortunate to be Principal of a school with such an amazing history in providing State Education. In 2023 our school is 153 years old. Napoleons Primary School is among the oldest schools, still open and providing quality education, in Victoria. Our school is on Wadawurrung land, and we acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians, past present and emerging.
While we are very proud of our school’s heritage , we are even more invested in building rich and meaningful future opportunities for the students attending Napoleons Primary School today.
I am privileged to be working with an exceptionally skilled staff team who are vibrant, highly qualified and committed to ongoing learning to ensure we always provide the best care and education for our students. We are a strong school community that strives for the highest standards in teaching and learning while at the same time, encourages and guides every student to support them to grow into confident, resilient young people.
Our school is warm and welcoming and provides a happy and safe environment where everyone belongs. We enjoy challenging our students to achieve their very best, personally, academically, and socially.
The school community is guided by our school values: Respect, Perseverance, Creativity and Belonging. It is important that our students:

At Napoleons Primary School we recognise the importance and value of home/school partnerships and the support of families through our School Council, our Parents and Friends Association (PFA), our camps and excursions and through parents who volunteer in the classroom, in a variety of ways. We liaise closely with all local kindergartens and we are a feeder school to Mount Clear College. This ensures all transitions to and from Napoleons Primary School are well supported and enable strong connections for students.
By browsing our website, you will discover more about Napoleons Primary School and the learning and wellbeing opportunities offered and provided. If you have any queries or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me at the school for further discussion.
